Come celebrate immigrant art and stories, as we turn the Ferry Building’s Grand Hall into a silent disco. 100 pairs of headphones, two channels, and music drawn from every culture represented in the show: Chinese, Filipino, Palestinian, Colombian, Chilean, Rajasthani, Ukrainian. You choose what you hear. The person next to you is hearing something else. Highlight the diversity of music and culture in the Bay Area.

This is a drop-in sketching session in the Grand Hall with Arrivals as your backdrop. ArtSpan staff and artists from the exhibition will be present for questions about the work or sketching guidance. First 10 people to arrive get free sketching supplies. Bring your own as well, for personal use and sharing.
